Mikel Arteta has called on his Arsenal players to control their emotions as the Premier League title race reaches a critical stage.
Arsenal could go six points clear of Manchester City if they defeat Fulham at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

However, recent performances have raised concerns, with the Gunners losing key matches against City and Bournemouth, which allowed their rivals to close the gap. A narrow 1-0 win over Newcastle United last weekend also showed signs of tension within the team.
Despite this, Arteta encouraged his players to stay focused and motivated, noting that they are just four games away from winning their first league title in 22 years. He stressed the need to balance emotions with the hunger and determination that have driven the team throughout the season.
After facing Fulham, Arsenal will have played two more matches than Manchester City, who take on Everton next. City’s games in hand could prove decisive in what is shaping up to be a very tight title race.
Arsenal are also juggling their domestic campaign with their pursuit of a first-ever UEFA Champions League title. They recently drew 1-1 with Atletico Madrid in the semi-final first leg, leaving qualification for the final still open.
Arteta admitted frustration over refereeing decisions in that match but urged his team to focus on finishing the job in the return leg at home.
For now, he insists the immediate priority is the clash against Fulham, urging his players to show the desire and hunger needed to move closer to their title dream.
Arsenal will again be without injured players Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber, though Arteta praised the squad for coping well despite multiple injury setbacks this season.
