Reijnders joins Al Qadsiah from Manchester City for €61m
Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders has joined Saudi Pro League club Al Qadsiah from Manchester City in a deal reportedly worth €61 million ($71 million).
Reijnders arrived at Al Qadsiah’s headquarters in Al Khobar on Tuesday ahead of the official announcement on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old has signed a contract with the Saudi club until 2031.
He joined Manchester City from AC Milan in June 2025 and still had four years left on his contract.
Reijnders made 47 appearances for City last season, scoring seven goals and helping the club win the FA Cup and League Cup.
His departure comes as City reshuffle their midfield following Rodri’s move to Barcelona.
Reijnders said he was grateful for his time at Manchester City and proud to have been part of the team that won two trophies last season.
Al Qadsiah are backed by Saudi state-owned oil company Aramco and are coached by former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.
