Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) beat Liverpool 2–0 in the second leg of their Champions League match. PSG won 4–0 overall and are now in the semi-finals.
Ousmane Dembele scored both goals for PSG. The game was played at Liverpool’s home ground, Anfield.
Liverpool also had a bad injury. Their player Hugo Ekitike hurt his leg badly. He may not play again this season.
Liverpool’s manager, Arne Slot, left star player Mohamed Salah on the bench at first. But Salah had to come on early because of Ekitike’s injury.
Liverpool tried hard to score but could not. A penalty they were given was taken back after the referee watched the video replay.
Dembele scored the first goal in the 72nd minute. He scored again at the end of the game.
Now PSG will play either Bayern Munich or Real Madrid in the semi-finals. PSG won the Champions League last year and want to win it again.
Liverpool will end this season without any trophy. They are fifth in the Premier League.
