NAWOJ Celebrates Former President, Veteran Broadcaster Moji Makanjuola at 70

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has paid a glowing tribute to one of its most distinguished leaders, Moji Makanjuola, MFR, legend of Cancer Control, The Jakadiyan Lafiya of Uke, as she marks her 70th birthday.

In a statement issued over the weekend, the association hailed Makanjuola as a trailblazer in Nigerian journalism and a committed advocate for women’s advancement in the media industry.

The statement, jointly signed by the National Chairperson, Hajia Aishatu Ibrahim, and the National Secretary, Wasilah Ladan, noted her contributions to professional excellence, mentorship, and the strengthening of NAWOJ during her tenure as national president.
