Mudryk joins Tottenham on loan from Chelsea

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has joined Tottenham Hotspur on loan until the end of the season, with Spurs having the option to make the move permanent for £75m.

The 25-year-old Ukraine international will be reunited with Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi, who previously coached him at Shakhtar Donetsk before Mudryk moved to Chelsea in 2023.

Mudryk was cleared of an anti-doping case last month but has not played competitive football since November 2024.

He joined Chelsea from Shakhtar in January 2023 in a deal worth up to £88.5m and has made 73 appearances for the London club, scoring nine goals.

His move to Tottenham gives him an opportunity to revive his career under a manager who is familiar with his abilities.

Mudryk becomes the ninth signing made by Tottenham this summer, with the club having spent more than £300m on new players as De Zerbi continues to reshape his squad.

Spurs are also expected to complete the permanent signing of Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo before the summer transfer window closes.
