French comedy series ‘Call My Agent!’ returns as a film

The popular French comedy series Call My Agent! has returned as a feature film, bringing back its original cast five years after the TV series ended.

The film, Call My Agent! The Movie, follows the characters as they reunite for a new film project. Camille Cottin returns as Andréa Martel, who is now trying to become a film director rather than work as a talent agent.

The movie also features several familiar faces from the original series, including Laure Calamy, Nicolas Maury, Thibault de Montalembert and Grégory Montel.

It also includes appearances by stars such as George Clooney, Eva Longoria, Laetitia Casta and Vincent Macaigne, who appear as themselves.

The original Call My Agent! series, known in French as Dix pour cent, became an international hit after being released on Netflix. It follows the staff of a Paris talent agency as they deal with demanding actors, personal problems and the pressures of the entertainment industry.

The film reunites the characters after the agency, ASK, has been dissolved. Andréa is now directing her first film, but the production quickly runs into problems.
