Aston Villa Crush Nottingham Forest To Reach Europa League Final

Aston Villa has reached their first European final in 44 years.

They beat Nottingham Forest 4-0 in the second leg of their Europa League semi-final on Thursday.

Villa lost the first leg 1-0. But they turned it around with goals from Ollie Watkins, Emiliano Buendia, and two late goals from their captain John McGinn. Villa won 4-1 overall.

They will now play against a German team called Freiburg in the final on May 20 in Istanbul.

Freiburg reached their first ever European final.

Prince William, a famous Villa fan, was in the stands celebrating with the crowd.

Villa is trying to win their first big European trophy since they won the European Cup in 1982.

The team’s coach, Unai Emery, is very experienced in this competition. He has won the Europa League four times before with other clubs.

It was a sad end for Nottingham Forest. They have not won a trophy for 36 years.

Their best player was not fully fit to play, and the team could not match Villa’s energy.

Villa’s fans were very happy at the end. Their captain McGinn scored two quick goals to send the crowd into celebration.
