Hemant Punjabi is a Nigerian-born Indian singer-songwriter, he co-owns a renowned Indian Restaurant, Queen Palace in Cotonou, Benin Republique with his family and resides there.
On February 14th, 2022, he became the first Indian musician to release an Afro-Indian track released to wide public acclaim.

“Mon BB”, his debut single has been viewed a whopping 3,95,000 times in the past five month since its release.
The song features local artist Vano Baby.
His follow-up single “Wa Dû Vé” was released the following month.
He released his third single “Cheri Main Teri” an Indo-Afro-Pop fused song with bilingual lyrics of undeniable love.
The song features guest vocals from Benin’s Zeynab as well as production from Masta Juzz Toofan of Togo.
The video features the three artists, with background dancers and was shot in Lomé, Togo.
Hemant was appointed as the brand ambassador of Zikomo Awards and is set to perform at their second edition of Zikomo Awards in Zambia 2022.
