Rodriguez scored seven goals in the Spanish league last season, including goals against Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
He came through Real Madrid’s youth academy and made his first-team debut in 2023 under Carlo Ancelotti. He later spent time on loan at Getafe before joining Elche in 2025.
Speaking after completing the move, Rodriguez said he was excited to join Bournemouth.
“It has always been my dream to play in the Premier League, and now that dream has come true,” he said.
The Uruguay youth international added that he is looking forward to improving his game and showing what he can do in England.
