Tinubu Swears in New Ministers, Promises Economic Recovery

President Bola Tinubu has sworn in the new ministers at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

After the ceremony, President Tinubu said that economic recovery is on the way. He added that there is a clear path to reach their goals, not only for themselves but also for future generations.

The President explained that, despite challenges, efforts to improve the country’s economy are ongoing.

He told the new ministers they have been called to join the team to help rescue the country.

On October 23, President Tinubu removed five ministers and appointed seven new ones in a cabinet reshuffle.

The Senate confirmed the new ministers on October 30. These are Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi as Minister of Labour and Employment, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole as Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Idi Mukhtar Maiha as Minister of Livestock Development, Yusuf Abdullahi Ata as Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, and Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad as Minister of State for Education.
