Senator Natasha Denies Apologizing to Senate, Calls Claims False

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (Kogi Central) has denied reports that she apologized to the Senate over the issue that led to her six-month suspension.

In a statement on Monday, she called the claims “false and misleading,” saying she stands by her words and actions.

She accused some individuals of spreading false information to mislead the public and insisted she would not be pressured into silence.

The senator, who was suspended after a heated exchange with Senate leaders, reaffirmed her commitment to defending the rights of her constituents.

She warned Nigerians to be cautious of fake news and emphasized that any official statements from her would come only through verified channels.

“This is not just about me; it is about the integrity of our democracy. I will not be intimidated or forced into submission through false narratives,” she said.
