U.S. President Donald Trump has warned European countries not to support Canada in an ongoing trade dispute.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated that if the European Union collaborates with Canada in ways that harm the U.S. economy, he would impose even higher tariffs on both.

“If the European Union works with Canada to hurt the U.S. economy, large-scale tariffs, far bigger than currently planned, will be placed on them,” he wrote.
This comes after Trump announced a 25% tariff on imported vehicles, adding to existing trade restrictions set to take effect on April 2.
The decision has increased global trade tensions and affected the U.S. stock market.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen criticized the move, calling it “bad for businesses, worse for consumers.”
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney also condemned the tariffs, describing them as a “direct attack” on Canadian workers and warning of possible retaliation.
