The mother of the late President, Umaru Musa Yar’adua, Hajiya Dada, has passed away.
A family member confirmed to Aminiya that she died at her home around 7 p.m.

The source also mentioned that Hajiya Dada died at the age of 102.
Her funeral prayer will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Yar’adua family house in the Yar’adua area of Katsina city.
She is survived by her children and grandchildren, including Abdulazeez Musa Yar’adua, the current Senator representing Katsina Central.
It is worth recalling that Yar’Adua passed away on May 5, 2010, after battling illness.
At that time, his deputy, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, succeeded him, becoming the President of Nigeria.
