The US Justice Department has released new documents from the investigation into late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including allegations made by a woman against US President Donald Trump.
According to the documents, the FBI interviewed an unidentified woman four times in 2019 as part of its investigation into Epstein.

Earlier, the Justice Department had released only a summary of one interview, where the woman said Epstein sexually abused her when she was a teenager.
However, newly released records show that the woman also claimed that Trump tried to force her to perform oral sex.
She said the incident happened after Epstein introduced her to Trump in New York or New Jersey in the 1980s, when she was between 13 and 15 years old.
The White House has not immediately responded to the newly released records. However, the press secretary described the allegations as “completely baseless” and said there is no credible evidence to support them.
The Justice Department also warned that some of the documents contain claims that may not be true.
Reuters news agency said it could not independently confirm the woman’s allegations, and FBI records suggest investigators stopped interviewing her in 2019.
Officials said the documents were among 15 records that had earlier been mistakenly marked as duplicates and were therefore not published.
The release comes as the Justice Department faces questions in the US Congress over how it has handled documents from the Epstein investigation, which it is required to make public.
Some lawmakers from the opposition party have accused the government of hiding information related to Trump.
A committee in the House of Representatives has voted to summon Attorney General Pam Bondi to explain how the documents are being handled.
Trump has previously said that his relationship with Epstein ended in the mid-2000s and that he was not aware of Epstein’s sexual crimes.
Earlier records also showed that Trump flew several times on Epstein’s private plane in the 1990s, although Trump has denied this.
In the woman’s final FBI interview in October 2019, investigators asked if she would be willing to provide more information about Trump.
She reportedly questioned what the point would be, saying there was a strong possibility nothing could be done about it at that stage in her life.
