You publicly claimed that shallow graves containing a beheaded Akpoha indigene were “discovered” in Amasiri.
Who gave you that intelligence, on what date, and where is the documented security report that predates your military invasion of the community?
You further claimed that “captured boys” led security agencies to those graves. If you have arrested the alleged killers and they have made confessional statements, why is an entire civilian population still being collectively punished instead of those suspects being charged before a court of competent jurisdiction?
Did any of those arrested persons state that they were acting on behalf of the whole Amasiri clan? If not, by what strange and unlawful logic are thousands of innocent citizens being treated as accomplices to an offence they neither committed nor knew about?
You said bodies were recovered. You said graves were identified. You said suspects were captured. Since you claim to have both the perpetrators and the physical evidence, what exactly are you still demanding from unarmed civilians who have no investigative powers and no custody of suspects? What exactly are you still demanding from Women and Children in Amasiri?
After two weeks of military occupation, house-to-house raids, arrests and destruction of property, your security forces have still not produced the alleged severed heads you claim to be searching for.
Is this not a clear admission that the siege is driven by emotion and propaganda rather than evidence and lawful investigation? Does this not simply imply that Amasiri has been accused wrongly? Are you not just trying to keep to your words of dealing severely with Amasiri for not voting you in 2023?
If suspects are truly in custody, why have they not been arraigned in compliance with Sections 35 and 36 of the Constitution? Or is detention without trial now the preferred substitute for criminal prosecution in Ebonyi State?
Under what law did you dissolve a legally created development centre overnight, shut down schools, cripple economic activity, impose prolonged curfews and militarise civilian life without a declaration of a state of emergency as required by the Constitution?
Are you prepared to submit these allegations to an independent forensic investigation and a judicial panel whose proceedings will be open, recorded and subject to public scrutiny?
Few Years ago, when Ikwo and Izzi were locked in a full-blown war where heads rolled and blood flowed openly on our soil, and you, being from Izzi Clan, sat as Speaker of the then House of Assembly, how many of those atrocities did that House move to have investigated and prosecuted as war crimes?
Why was the machinery of legislative outrage silent then, yet it is suddenly thunderous now against a peaceful Amasiri? How many Development Centers were dissolved? How many Health Centers were shut down? Are you just waking up?
If this is not a calculated political plot aimed at genocidal annihilation, why are the Health Centres, chemists and pharmacies in Amasiri under effective shutdown? Even in theatres of war, the Red Cross operates to preserve life.
Why then is medical access strangled while, at the same time, quarries are reportedly opened and operating, carting away the mineral wealth of the land and generating revenue for the State Government? Is this governance or economic exploitation under the shadow of collective punishment?
NOTE TO GOVERNOR NWIFURU
These questions are not optional. They go to the heart of constitutional governance, due process and the prohibition of collective punishment.
Governor, this is not security. This is state overreach. Governance by accusation is not law. Punishment without trial is not justice. Siege without evidence is not security.
A government that claims to have arrested suspects yet continues to punish innocent citizens exposes the weakness of its own narrative.

The defence of the rule of law is not an act of hostility to government. It is the foundation of democracy.
Leadership must be subjected to scrutiny, evidence and constitutional limits, not insulated by fear and propaganda.
There is nothing wrong in subjecting People aspiring to be the Governor of a State to IQ Test, Brain Test and Mental Stability Test. If the Governor had a Good Script-writer, he won’t be disgracing us Ebonyians in Public.
