Some opposition parties have accused Tinubu and the APC of trying to control the political space. But Tinubu denied this and said his government supports unity and democratic values.
He explained that a strong opposition helps to question government actions and improve policies, which leads to better governance.
Tinubu also said everyone has the right to join any political group, as guaranteed by the constitution.
On power supply, the president promised that electricity will improve soon. He said the government is working to increase power generation and plans to add about 1,500 megawatts to the national grid.
He added that his administration is making progress and moving the country towards stability and development.
