Six people have died and 23 others were injured in a road accident along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway near Four Square Camp.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said the crash happened at about 11:27 a.m. and involved a trailer.

FRSC spokesperson Odunsin Afolabi said 29 people were involved in the accident.
He explained that speeding and driver fatigue caused the crash, which led to loss of control.
The injured victims and bodies of the dead were taken to Oreoluwa Hospital, GOFAMINT Camp, Ogunmakin, and Victory Hospital, Ogere.
The FRSC has advised drivers to avoid speeding, rest well before driving, and ensure their vehicles are properly maintained.
