President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will leave Abuja on Sunday for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he will attend the Joint Arab-Islamic Summit.
The meeting, starting on Monday, November 11, 2024, will focus on the current issues in the Middle East.

Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, explained the purpose of the summit.
“President Tinubu will address the ongoing Israel-Palestinian conflict, stressing Nigeria’s call for an immediate ceasefire and the need for a peaceful solution,” he said.
“Nigeria also supports renewed efforts to pursue the two-state solution as a lasting path to peace in the region.”
Onanuga added that President Tinubu will be joined by several key officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
“Also accompanying the President will be the Minister of Information, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, and the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency, Amb. Mohammed Mohammed,” he said.
After the summit ends, President Tinubu will return to Abuja.
