Lionel Messi and Inter Miami suffered another big defeat, losing 3-0 to Orlando City at home on Sunday, May 18, in a Major League Soccer (MLS) match.
The loss adds to Miami’s recent poor form — they’ve only won once in their last seven games. They’ve now dropped to sixth place in the Eastern Conference, while Orlando moved ahead of them in the standings.

Messi had a quiet night, managing just two shots on target. His teammate Luis Suárez also struggled, and Miami’s defense looked disorganized throughout the game.
Orlando took the lead just before halftime with a simple goal: a long ball from their goalkeeper reached Luis Muriel, who ran through the defense and scored.
In the second half, a mistake by Miami’s goalkeeper Oscar Ustari allowed Marco Pasalic to score the second. The final goal came in added time when Dagur Thorhallsson finished a counter-attack started by Duncan McGuire.
After the match, Messi admitted the team is going through tough times
