Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has described Rijana community along the Abuja–Kaduna Expressway as the main center of insecurity and banditry in Nigeria.
The governor said this during a visit to Kurmin Wali community in Kajuru Local Government Area, where suspected bandits recently abducted 177 worshippers from three churches during Sunday services.

He assured residents that efforts are ongoing to secure the release of the victims.
Governor Sani also called on the Federal Government to set up a military base in Kurmin Wali because of its closeness to Rijana.
He recalled that former governor, Nasir El-Rufai, had earlier suggested relocating Rijana due to criminal activities there.
The state government and police had earlier denied the kidnapping, but later confirmed it after the names of the 177 victims were released on Tuesday.
