Israel’s military says it has carried out airstrikes on two naval cruise missile production facilities in Tehran, Iran.
According to the military, the Israeli Air Force acted on intelligence from the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) to hit the targets in recent days.

“In recent days, the Israeli air force acting on IDF intelligence struck two key naval cruise missile production sites in Tehran,” the military said.
It added that the facilities were used to develop and produce long-range naval cruise missiles capable of destroying targets at sea and on land.
The military said the attack was part of efforts to weaken Iran’s military production capacity.
It stated that the strikes were “another step in deepening the damage done to the regime’s military production infrastructure.”
Last week, Israel’s military also said its fighter jets attacked several Iranian naval vessels in the Caspian Sea, including ships fitted with anti-submarine missiles.
