Former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has returned to a Federal High Court in Kaduna, where his request for bail is expected to be heard.
He is facing a 10-count charge filed by the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), including allegations of misuse of public property and money laundering.
El-Rufai appeared in court after spending over a month in detention.
The court had earlier fixed March 31, 2026, to hear his bail application and other pending matters.
He was temporarily released on March 27 on compassionate grounds following the death of his mother in Cairo, Egypt.
More details are expected later.
