Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar says President Bola Tinubu and the APC are worried about the growing strength of the opposition ADC ahead of the 2027 election.
In a statement by his spokesperson, Atiku said the ruling party is afraid because he is becoming a major force in the 2027 political race.

He also warned that there are efforts to spread false information to weaken the ADC’s progress. Atiku dismissed claims that he has retired from politics, calling them untrue.
He urged his supporters and Nigerians to ignore such reports and stay focused on efforts to rebuild the country.
This comes as former Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, recently joined the ADC, increasing political activities ahead of 2027.
