Former Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN), has denied reports that arms or ammunition were found in any house linked to him.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by his media aide, Mohammed Bello Doka, Malami said the claims are false and not backed by any official record.

He said no security agency has informed him, his family, or his lawyers that any weapons were recovered from his residence.
The statement accused some media outlets of spreading unverified allegations and turning investigations into a media trial. It stressed that Malami has not been convicted of any crime and should be treated as innocent under the law.
Malami also denied any link to terrorism or terrorism financing, saying the allegations were made without evidence, names, or details.
His aide further claimed that since his arrest by the DSS on Monday, Malami has been denied access to his family and lawyers, raising concerns about his rights and welfare.
The statement noted that Malami is a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and has declared interest in the 2027 Kebbi governorship race, warning that politics should not affect legal processes.
Malami urged the media to report responsibly and allow the law to take its course.
