An Air India aircraft carrying 242 passengers has crashed shortly after takeoff from the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad.
The flight, whose destination has not yet been officially confirmed, went down minutes after leaving the runway. Emergency response teams, including fire services, medical personnel, and airport security, were immediately dispatched to the crash site.

Authorities have yet to release details regarding casualties or possible survivors, but efforts are ongoing to rescue and attend to those affected.
