Legendary American martial artist and actor Chuck Norris has died at the age of 86, his family confirmed on Friday.
In a statement shared on Instagram, the family said Norris passed away suddenly on Thursday morning.

“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Chuck Norris,” the statement read. “He lived a life of faith, purpose, and dedication to those he loved. Through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired millions around the world.”
Reports indicate that Norris fell ill while on the Hawaiian island of Kauai.
Norris, widely known for his role in the hit television series Walker, Texas Ranger, became a global symbol of strength and toughness through his films and later through viral internet jokes.
He celebrated his 86th birthday just last week, posting a video of himself boxing and joking, “I don’t age. I level up.”
The martial arts expert began his acting career in 1968 with a small role in The Wrecking Crew.
His rise to fame accelerated after his memorable fight scene with Bruce Lee in The Way of the Dragon, which helped cement his status as an action icon.
Over the decades, Norris starred in numerous action films and television shows, leaving a lasting legacy in Hollywood and popular culture.
